My story

I overheard my foster mom say I was quite the princess! Well, that makes perfect sense because I enjoy and deserve the finest things in my life, like a cute collar, maybe a nice sweater or warm coat and YOU! My name is Edie and I am a very sweet girl. I don’t bark much, unless someone comes to the door. I am comfortable in my crate if you need some me time or or to tuck me away somewhere safe to run an errand. I love kids and am good with other dogs. I sleep all night and once I know where to go and how to ask you I am pretty well housebroken. I would love to be your best girl and lap buddy!
xoxo Edie

Why adoption is a great option

Edie, a Yamhill Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Yamhill, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Yamhill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yamhill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yamhill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yamhill paves the way for another one to be saved.
