Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Calamity Jane is an adult, spayed female cat, probably born in 2014. She arrived with Wild Bill and we suspect he is her son. They were rescued after being on their own for a while. Bill has been adopted but Jane is patiently waiting for her purrfect purrson. Jane started out a little shy by she is getting braver by the day. She has discovered how much she loves canned food and will tells us how excited she is when she hears the "psst" of a can opening. She dances, prances, rubs on us, and generally puts on her own version of a can-can dance (pun intended). She gets even more excited if we pet down her back when she's dancing. We can pick her up gently to move her but she's still not comfy being held for cuddles and she still freezes at sudden noises or disruptions (but that's getting better too). She's a very sweet kitty who could be a really nice companion for the right person. She would like a quiet, adult household with someone patient enough to win her confidence.
