My story

Talia is a beautiful, 4 year old, fawn Doberman. Talia is friendly and loves attention. She nudges you with her nose or paws at you until you pet her. She is very focused and smart! If she wants a treat, she will stare at you intensely. We have been working on her training and she has learned quickly. She needs a gentle and strong leader but she definitely wants to please. Talia is very energetic and needs an active home. She would love hiking or going for runs regularly. Talia also enjoys food and toys! She could play fetch all day and always has a ball or stuffed toy in her mouth! Along with toys, she can be a hoarder of blankets as well. She has trouble sharing with other animals though. She wants all the toys for herself. We have worked with her and she is doing much better but may need more training in her next home if you have other pets. Talia gets along with other dogs but does best with dogs her size or larger because she often plays a bit rough. She could have fun wrestling with a dog sibling but would also be happy as the only pet getting all the attention! Talia sometimes stalks cats so we think it's best for her to go to a home without kitties. Also, because she can play rough, a home without small children would also be best. Talia is spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. She is also crate trained and housebroken. She came to us with a bad skin infection which has cleared up but she still hasn't had all of her hair grow back in. We think she is beautiful regardless. If you'd like to meet Talia, please submit an application on our website at www.dominoeffectanimalrescue.org

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Go to our website to fill out an Adoption Application! We will review your app and, if your home is a good match for the pet, we well email you to set up a meeting with your family and current pets. If all goes well at the meeting, we offer a foster to adopt program where you can take home the pet you're interested in for up to two weeks to make sure he/she is a good fit for your home and is welcomed by your other current animals. We just ask that you leave the adoption fee as a deposit before taking your pet home. Any time within the two weeks, if you decide the pet is a perfect addition to your family, let us know and sign the Adoption Contract, we will hand over all vaccine paperwork, and the pet is yours! (If you decide the pet is not for you, the deposit will be returned in full) Adoption Fees: $400 for puppies (6mo or younger) $350 for adult dogs $250 for senior dogs (8+years) $150 for kittens (6mo or younger) $125 for adult cats $100 for senior cats

Go meet their pets

Potential adopters must submit an application before setting up a private meeting with that specific animal. Once application is reviewed, we will email to make arrangements to set the date/time. We ask that the entire family and current pets are present. Meetings are held at the animals location or at your home. We also have adoption shows occasionally where you can come down and meet some of our adoptable pets. Please check our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/dominoeffectanimalrescue to find out when our next show will be!

More about this rescue

Domino Effect Animal Rescue is a 501c3 non profit, no kill animal rescue located in Temecula Valley, California dedicated to saving the lives of animals in county shelters. By taking in some of these homeless animals, we hope to ease the overcrowding in shelters which leads to euthanasia. We provide care and love to all animals that enter our rescue as they await their loving, forever homes. Each animal is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and examined by a licensed veterinarian. Some animals require more medical care than the basics and we help them heal so that they can live healthy lives with their next family. We also work on basic obedience and socialization skills to help each pet develop desired behaviors for their future family.
