My story

DOB: 11/7/20

We found Zoe by an apartment building guarding her kittens. We quickly realized that she was very friendly and took her and her kittens in. Zoe was a great mom and her kittens have been adopted, now she’s waiting for her forever home! We think she was most likely dumped by an owner that moved out, because she is incredibly sweet and friendly. She’s getting used to being in a home again and is ready for a second chance at love. Once she trusts you, she’ll be hopping on your lap and making biscuits. Zoe loves affection and is looking for a home that will give her a chance to show what an amazing cat she is!

If you are interested in learning more about this kitty or in adopting her, please click here to email her foster parent.

If you are unable to send an email to the foster parent through the link included above, please contact us and let us know what kitty you're interested in.  You may also fill out our adoption questionnaire to speed up the screening process.  Be sure to name the cat in the CAT PREFERENCE field at the beginning of the questionnaire. If the above links aren't live, our contact form and questionnaire are available on our website at www.kittenrescue.org.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 1,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
