My story

** COURTESY POST FOR TRAPPER/FOSTER/ADOPTER **

Meet Guido!

Guido is a grey tabby with beautiful stripes and markings. He is a fearless little guy who loves to find a lap to cuddle on. He is also super playful and curious. One of his favorite things to do hang out and play with his best friend, Salem. They just love running up the cat tree chasing after one another! Guido is very friendly and Loves affection! He was found with two other littermates in someone's yard. The mama cat was feral and has since been Trapped, fixed, vaccinated and returned to her colony by The TNR Project. Guido and his two siblings were lucky to be rescued from having to live on the streets, being at risk every day. They have been so well socialized that they would fit into just about any home. They get along well with other cats, kids, and the whole family really! Guido must be adopted with his best friend Salem....they are the perfect pair and very bonded!

Sterilize...Don't Euthanize!

Thank you for looking at our beautiful cats & kittens who were unwanted & vulnerable living on the streets. We are bringing awareness to our TNR (Trap.Neuter.Return) group who is out sterilizing & rescuing from the streets daily after work. TNR is THE ONLY humane & permanent solution to preventing the overpopulation and solving the emergency at hand. Please get involved to help the remaining kitties on the streets who have no voice.

Why adoption is a great option

Guido (ADOPTED!), a Monrovia Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Monrovia, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Monrovia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Monrovia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Monrovia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Monrovia paves the way for another one to be saved.
