My story

Marlee is a 4 year old German Shepherd mix who was adopted from our rescue as a little 12 week old puppy and became that dog that was placed in the wrong home and now she is paying the price of being unwanted and returned to the rescue.
She is a wonderful girl who needs an adopter that understands good dog ownership. One that will provide daily training and exercise so she can make up for the time she spent unattended and bored in her own back yard. She has not had much socialization with the outside world but luckily, she is a social girl who is people friendly and gets along with dogs of all sizes. She is crate trained and walks well on leash. Located in St. Augustine, FL
Her adoption fee is $200.

Why adoption is a great option

Marlee, a Ormond Beach German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Ormond Beach, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Ormond Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ormond Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ormond Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ormond Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
