My story

My name is Yoko and I have come a long long way! I was born outside with my siblings because my mommy was considered to be feral. We hit the jackpot when mommy moved us to this really nice place. The hoomans gave mommy lots of yummy food, a great big house with heat when it was cold and cool beading when it was hot outside! They spent so much time talking softly to me, mommy and all of my siblings. We learned to trust and love hoomans and not be scared anymore. I purr when they talk to me, hold me and rub me 😼. I'm ready to find my forever family now even though I'll miss my hoomans that taught me to trust and love. I know that they will continue to help others just like my mommy who needed help with her babies.

We are a rescue that is dedicated to saving previously homeless animals. Are mission is to better their lives with proper vetting, quality food and the perfect forever family that will show them unconditional love for the rest of their life.

We're located in Statesville NC and operate through volunteers and donations. Paws and Claws Feline Rescue NC is a nonprofit 501c3 rescue. Our available pets are cared for in foster homes which allows us to fully understand their needs entirely.
