Baxter is an adorable Pit/Boxer mix, perhaps Lab/Pit mix. Baxter is about 8 years old and is a big ol goofy boy who loves to play with his stuffy toys.

He is a happy go lucky sort of boy, but can be protective of his people. Baxter is fine with some dogs and not with others so we would prefer he goes to a home with no other dogs. When he does play with other dogs he has a rough and rowdy play style that cam be overwhelming to some dogs.

The ideal home for Baxter would be a quiet house without a lot of in and out traffic of non family members coming and going, a nice couch or dog bed for him to lounge on, a toy box full of stuffy toys and a privacy fenced back yard. He is not a dog that requires a lot of exercise so playing in the house with his toys or in the backyard should be fine for him.

All dogs adopted from PAWS come with 1 months of free day care at KCPaws All pets adopted from PAWS will be current on their vaccinations and spayed or neutered and microchipped prior to their release.

More about this rescue

We are an organization determined to work for the benefit of animals in need. Whether it be helping to find new homes for our adoptable friends or working in connection with local and City agency's to investegate cases of cruelty and neglect. We have a large facility and staff that is able to handle a wide variety of these types of issues as well as working with animals with behavioral, socialization, or training issues.
