My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

*UPDATE*

Henry was seen by a veterinary ophthalmologist who determined Henry's eyes were diseased. Torn Retinas.  Not only was Henry blind, his eyes were causing him pain.  The only responsible thing to do was remove the eyes.  Henry has adjusted quite well.  He is so loving and gentle.  Henry seeks out love and attention.  He maneuvers his way around his home, and learned where the fireplace was right away!!

Henry is house trained and will tell you when he needs to go outside.  Henry does not kennel well so, his new home should plan on giving  him 'free reign' yet keep him safe from stairs, etc...

NO HOMES WITH INGROUND POOL WILL BE CONSIDERED

Henry ignores other dogs, but those occasionally will 'startle' if another dog 'gets up in his grill'

Henry barks when he perceives a kitty nearby.

***********************************************

Henry will come with his 'Muffin's Halo' as well as all medical/veterinary records.

Henry's mom died.  Henry's dad was unable to continue to care for him.  Henry hadn't been well cared for for years.  Sadly, he has suffered a great deal of neglect.  He has lost almost all of his hair due to severe flea infestation.  He has mature cataracts.  He was fed poor quality food.  He is estimated to be as young as maybe 6?  We'll know more when our vet issues 'Doctor's notes' on his chart.  For now, owner said they have had Henry for about 5 years.  He had NEVER BEEN TO A VET THE WHOLE TIME THEY HAD HIM!

No flea control, no vaccines, no wormer, no HW prevention.....nothing... just existed.  Poor Henry!

We aim to see he  never suffers another day for the rest of his life.

Eye specialist tomorrow
