My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Don the London is a super cute orange boy. He gets along with all cats and loves cuddling with them and sharing beds. Climbing up high is one of his perks.

Don was found outside and brought to a pound with barking dogs and yelling humans. The experience left him shy and cautious around people.

With us just placing a cat in an unknown situation quite a few cats get super anxious and decide to hide and observe the new place and family from relative safety. To help the cat accept you and develop a loving bond, you would need to put in some effort, loving care, and patience. We think that Don the London will adjust in 6 to 9 weeks. You would need to keep him in one small room (preferably your bedroom) and spend time just sitting, talking or even singing to him.

If that is something you would like to do please fill the Bashful Cat match https://forms.gle/fRm4snuyfnSBaVgR9
It will help determine if you and our bashful kitty will have a great life together. If you are a match we will ask that you complete the standard Survey as a next step.

More about this rescue

Our focus is on shy cats and semi feral and feral cats. Our volunteers work hard to socialize and rehabilitate cats that went through some type of traumatic experience, such as being left outside, getting lost or being abused.
