My story

Meet Lange
These pups are chubby little lovebugs thanks to their momma doing such an awesome job at raising them. She is a petite little Pittie and maybe Boxer mix. We don't know what dad was for sure.
4 males and 2 females, born 11/3/21.
Adoption Fee $325.00

The first step is filling out an application on our website.
www.saveamomrescue.com
Be sure to call your vet and let them know it is ok to give us a reference. If records are under a maiden name, or another family member be sure to note that. We will call your vet and make sure current/previous pets are given general care, which includes, vaccinations, spay/neuter, and heartworm test/prevention (for dogs). Due to the amount of applications we receive we can not make multiple calls to different vets to track down records. We also can not keep calling back to see if you released records.
We are not processing app's for 1st time pet owners at this time. Adoptions are not first come, first serve. We pull the app's that look like the best fit for that dog/puppy. Once the vet reference is complete you will be notified to set up a meet and greet. If the meet and greet goes well you can go home with the dog/puppy that day.
All of our dogs/puppies are seen by our vet for an exam, fecal, age appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, 4dx parasite screen (adult dogs), and receive routine deworming, heartworm/flea prevention, plus any extra medical needed while in our care.

Why adoption is a great option

Lyza, a East Sparta Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer for sale in East Sparta, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog from a breeder in East Sparta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in East Sparta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a East Sparta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in East Sparta paves the way for another one to be saved.
