My story

Meet Spike! Spike is a 3 year old Pit bull mix. Spike will when you over with his big smile and awesome personality. Spike loves to play, and gets the ZOOMIES! Spike needs a gentle, calm, but firm hand to show him the way and train him. He does well with other dogs, but prefer a calmer dog. Spike needs a home with no children  (due to energy/playfulness) and without cats.  If you would like to make Spike a part of your family, please fill out an adoption application at

Adoption Fee: $170

*Due to Covid 19 restrictions some of our new intakes vet scheduling has been delayed. We will still go ahead and schedule your meet and greet even if all the vetting needed has not been completed. Once vetting is complete the approved adopter will be able to take their dog/cat home to their forever home.

The shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at the dog's predominant breed or breed mix. We strongly encourage you to select your new pet by looking at each dog's individual personality and pet qualities rather than relying on a breed label that is only our best guess.

Our adoption fees vary from $150 and up.  All of our dogs are up to date on vaccines, heart worm preventives, and flea/tick medication, and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Portions of your adoption fee also help care for the sick and injured animals that we take in.  Thank you for supporting us and considering a rescue dog!
