My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Dobby (but you can call me Dobbs)!  My sister, Sage, and I had an owner who could no longer keep us so now we are looking for another forever home.  Sage and I have been together our entire lives and would love to find a forever home together. If you watch the videos, you can see that we have a lot of fun playing with each other and other dogs.

Our foster dad says that we both have social and happy dispositions, we are good house dogs, we don't chew things and I do not mark in the house.  He also says we do good on car rides and are very obedient when playing with the pack of dogs in our foster home.  We both know the commands come, sit, lie down, stand up (on hind legs), fetch, and shake.

My foster dad says that I am one of the most pleasant and subordinate male dogs he has ever seen.  He says I am usually just chilling with what appears to be a big smile!  I guess I am just a handsome, happy boy!!

If you want to adopt me and Sage, it is very important that you are familiar with the husky breed because we are not for everyone.  We are free-spirited and typically good-natured with people and we are athletic and playful.  We love being outdoors and require significant daily exercise.  We are also very curious dogs and if we don't get enough stimulation and exercise, we ofter turn to the outside world - that means we will resort to being an escape artist.

DOBBY is available for adoption with Saving Grace Dog Rescue of San Antonio.  The adoption fee is $150.00 local and $375.00 out of state with transport.  An adoption application, home visit and adoption contract are all required.  All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations appropriate for their age, microchipped and wormed for internal and external parasites.  If you would like more information or an adoption application, please email us at sgdrsa@outlook.com.  Please note that visual breed identification in rescue dogs is unreliabe so for most of our dogs we are only GUESSING at predominant breed or breed mix.  We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality.
