Thor was in shelter systems before we got him for around twelve months or so. We rescued him from Riverside Shelter in July. He started off difficult to train, but with love, patience, and consistency, he has learned well. He is very affectionate. He loves being the center of attention and laying up under us, loves meeting new people and is so kind, even kids. He never harms anyone, but does have a little bit of a mouthing habit that we managed to get mostly in control; just give him a toy to chew on. He does need exercise, a walk or two a day will do wonders for his requirement for stimulation. He can be very energetic, but since he's older, he's mellowed out and can be lazy too. Thor does occasionally go potty in the house, again he was in shelters for a very long time, but we very got him out of this habit and on a 2hr potty schedule thanks to crate-training. Sleeps in his crate for 6-8hrs overnight with no issue.
Work schedule conflict and wife being pregnant reason for rehoming.
