Are you ready for some foootball?!? I am! It’s the only thing I slow down for. I will sit still to watch a good game, but slowing down isn’t in my genes. I am Border Collie (zip, zip, zip) and Jack Russell Terrier (boink, boink, boink), so I am looking for an active family to keep up with my vivacity. I came from a rural shelter with a litter of puppies who have all been adopted. Don’t get me wrong, I love my babies, but puppies, boy are they messy. With me, you get all the puppy energy and adorableness, but I am a grown adult, so I am potty and crate trained. I am only a little over a year old, so I do have some puppy habits. I love, love my toys, but I accidentally destroy them all! Sometimes I get excited and forget that your foot or you are is not one of my toys but I'm really smart so I am working on things! I would be top student in training class! I also love playing with other dogs and am generally just a big goofball. Take me home today and we can play all day and then snuggle on the couch taking in a game on the tube. When I first come home I may be a little shy. I barked at my foster mom and dad at first because I haven't met a lot of new people and I was a little nervous but they gave me lots of treats and toys and I decided they were all right!
Ginger is available for adoption with Saving Grace Dog Rescue of San Antonio. The adoption fee is $150.00 local and $375 out of state with transport. An adoption application, home visit and adoption contract are all required. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations appropriate for their age, microchipped, and wormed for internal and external parasites. If you would like more information or an adoption application, please email us at sgdrsa@outlook.com.
Please note that visual breed identification in rescue dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only GUESSING at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
