Hello fans, it's me Genevieve aka Gigi here letting you know I am 'doptable- that's adoptable for short in case you were wondering. Right now I live with foster lady and gentleman and my foster siblings in Alabama but I am looking for my forever home. I came to my foster family pretty scared. Nobody showed me that life and humans were not scary when I was younger, so I had to adjust to living in a home and being with people. As you can see by the photos, I likes the peoples now, like a lot. They say I am a good girl- I am potty trained with a doggy door, I am good in my kennel during the day (though I may not need it as I don't chew things) and I get along with all the doggies in the home nicely. I haven't quite figured out the death noose aka leash walking, so my forever family will need to invest some time in leash training and have a fully fenced yard for me. I will take some time in the home to warm up as a change is going to be hard for me, but I will come out of my shell with just a little patience and another confident pup to help show me the ropes. My current foster family is pretty attached to me so they will likely hand deliver me to you up there in Minnesota. I probably have you hooked already, so don't hesitate to submit an application to be my forever family.

Requirements: Fully fenced yard, another confident dog in the home

Adoption Fee: $450 + tax. This includes neuter/spay, current vaccinations as age appropriate, heartworm/tick testing if appropriate, deworming, microchip, and current preventatives

Why adoption is a great option

Genevieve aka Gigi, a Minneapolis Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
