My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Merry is a love bug. Loves to cuddle and be held. Coming home to her excitement and kisses is wonderful. She loves to walk and play, very energetic and VERY vocal. She’s learning her barks and howls.

Also very intelligent. She picks up basic commands after a few tries. She’s a puppy, so she needs supervision and structure. She’s caught on to house training, but there have been some accidents. Currently, she doesn’t do her business on walks (I’ve tried and tried), but she won’t hesitate to “go” in a designated spot like a patch of potty grass or litter box.

I acquired her when someone was giving away “free to a good home” puppies. I always take those dogs because who knows where they end up. I had the intention of rehoming her, but initially decided to keep her because her and my dog have bonded so much.

But after moving into a smaller place and increasing work hours, I don’t have the time to give her the attention she needs. She’s an excellent companion.
