My story

Thank you so much for your interest in our loveable, very handsome boy. Duke is a 6 year old Mastiff mix. He is kennel trained, potty trained, walks well on a leash and knows basic commands. This guy would do best with someone who really has time to spend with him. He recently lost his person (at no falut of his own) and is still trying to figure out what happened. Duke has a laid back demeanor, he would be happy laying (taking over) the couch or just chilling with you outside in a fenced in backyard. He also loves to take strolls aound the neighborhood. He walks well on a leash but is still working on his recall. Please feel free to call/text/email for more information on Duke. He is being fostered in Sumter County, FL.

Why adoption is a great option

Big Duke, a Ocala Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mastiff for sale in Ocala, or seeking a Mastiff dog from a breeder in Ocala.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ocala already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ocala breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mastiff breeders who help with Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ocala paves the way for another one to be saved.
