My story

PNC was given his name after a kind individual posted that a cat needed help behind a local bank. This poor boy was likely hit by a car. He had a broken pelvis and a pretty large wound. She and so many others pulled together to help trap him and get him the help he needed. She surrendered him to a local animal hospital. They poured their hearts and knowledge into him. They saved his life.
We agreed to take him, and finish his medical care. He spent time recovering with his foster family for the next few months. As time went on, his bones healed, and he was cleared to find a family of his own!
He is very sweet and affectionate. Loves people and other animals. Everything is new and exciting to him. He loves to snuggle and makes the best noises. Due to his injury his tail drags, and he is a bit clumsy, but loves his new life. (This is not a cause for worry, he is medically fine now) PNC enjoys following his person around, so we recommend he live with someone who is quick on their feet! He loves to be under them!

Why adoption is a great option

PNC, a CLEVELAND Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in CLEVELAND, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in CLEVELAND.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in CLEVELAND already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a CLEVELAND breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in CLEVELAND paves the way for another one to be saved.
