My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Before calling about this dog, please read our adoption requirements at http://gsrne.org/requirements-for-adopting-from-gsrne

Milo is a 3.5 year old, playful boy who enjoys being around people. We were told he lived with cats and young child without issue. However, we found that Milo lacked some basic manners. We knew he needed more of a training foundation before placing him in a home so one of our volunteers, who’s also a certified trainer happily, agreed to foster him.

Milo did well in his new structured routine and environment. His foster Dad (trainer) has done a great job working on his obedience, socializing Milo and interacting him with other dogs. Milo walks very well in areas with lots of distractions, keeping a loose leash while encountering other dogs, runners, bicyclists, etc. He does well with some dogs but should not be taken to off leash dog parks or Doggie Daycare. He enjoys playing with his foster dad’s confident female GSD, but may not do well with dogs who are less confident. We feel that Milo is now ready to move on to his forever home, a home that will continue his training. If you are looking for a loyal, energetic companion, Milo might just be the guy for you.
