My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy is a lively, smart, devoted, curious and funny little 6 year old dog. She knows a few commands - no, sit down, come, dinner, home - and obeys them when she s not excited.she loves walks, car rides and quiet time with me. She does not like strange people, quick movements and anything or anyone who appears to be threatening me. She nips at what she does not like or fears. She has not bitten anyone in the year she has lived in Illinois. Since her owners, prior to Illinois, have died, older information is unknown.

I live in a senior independent living complex. She has nipped at dome residents and a manager. As a result, management has evicted her.

Lucy thrives with a loving, patient human. A home without children, multiple visitors or other pets would be ideal. She will alert you to anyone even approaching your door.
