My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cassie
Domestic Short Hair
Female
2 years old
6 lbs.
My name is Cassie, and I’m looking for an amazing family to give me all the love and gentleness I could ever ask for. Before I came to PawsCo, I hadn’t experienced love from humans in my life but the kind people who rescued me just KNEW I deserved the love of a forever home! And….they were right! I am SO happy to be an adored cat now and I can’t wait to find a forever home of my very own.
I’ve made so much progress with my confidence building in my foster home! I love to play and be a part of the family. I enjoy affection and will even ask for love and ear scratches from my foster family now! I do amazing with other cats (I think it would be really important to have another friendly cat in my forever home since I really seem to lean on another cat for initially building confidence) and I also do great with friendly dogs.
One of my favorite games to play is “chase the toy on a string”. I can get pretty goofy when I’m honed in on a toy. I also have the sweetest meow and I like to talk to you in the morning when it’s breakfast time (can you blame me??) I am great with my litterbox habits and I’m just such a gem overall.
So what do I need in a forever home? I just need a family who will be patient with me and help me feel as confident in my new home like I am in my foster home. Now that I have learned to trust, my runway to building trust in a new home will likely be a lot shorter! But I will need time and patience to show my goofy side and I’m looking for a family who will understand that and help encourage me along the way. Believe me..I am worth the patience!
Would you like to learn more about me? Yea! Please reach out to my friends at PawsCo at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org or fill out an adoption application at https://pawsco.org/adopt and let’s make it happen!
