My story

JAX
Gender: Male
Age: 2 years
Weight: 65 lbs
Personality: Happy, friendly, playful
Training: In training

Are you an active person or family that loves exploring the great outdoors? Do you prefer a life of adventures over sitting inside watching TV? Are you looking for the perfect companion to join you in all of these activities? Look no further than Jax here! He is a happy young guy that is looking for a family that will cherish his spunky and playful personality. He loves meeting new people and will gladly show you all the love and affection he has to give. He may even just roll over so you can rub his belly! He also loves playing with his canine friends in the play yard, so a home with or without a canine sibling of similar energy levels would be ideal for this happy guy! Don't get me wrong, Jax loves to explore outside and be active, but after a long days work he will gladly curl up at your feet while you relax on the couch. He has completed his training in our Prison Training Program and is crate trained, house trained, and knows his basic commands. Jax is a sweet boy that lives life to the fullest. If you are looking for a companion that will keep you company on all your adventures, apply to adopt Jax today!

More about this rescue

Paws For Life K9 Rescue pulls its dogs from high-kill shelters. Often, we choose dogs that would most likely be euthanized at the shelter. We do this because our trainers can dedicate all of their time to their rehabilitation. After several months of training, our dogs are ready for family life after completing their AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification. Some are trained to become service animals for military veterans with PTSD. By lowering euthanasia rates and preparing dogs for service-jobs, PFL is proving that everyone deserves a second chance.
