My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Colby is a super sweet cat, about 8 years old. He loves sitting on laps and getting scratches under his chin. He is excellent with our 2 year old and 7 month old kids. He has been indoor/outdoor in the past and, more recently, indoor only. We adopted Colby a little over a year ago. His prior owners were moving out of state and we agreed to take him on when asked. Unfortunately, our female adult cat, who we've had since a kitten, did not welcome the inclusion of another cat in the family as much as we did. She has been chasing Colby around the house for the past year and we finally decided he would probably be happier if they were separated. Colby is not the aggressor in the situation, so it's possible he would be okay in a house with other cats if they are friendly. I believe his prior owner had a dog at some point, so that may be okay too. We are looking for a loving home for him, as he is very good-natured and we are saddened that ours could not be the happy forever home he deserves.
