Here's what the humans have to say about me:
When we saw handsome Champ shaking and cowering in the corner of his kennel at the shelter, we immediately knew that he needed to come to us and be placed in the most loving foster home there is. Despite being terrified the first day he arrived, he adapted quickly and has blossomed in the care of his foster mom and his 2 canine foster sisters. He is gentle, curious, and learning how to relax and trust. He will do best in a quiet nurturing home with adopters who are gentle and understanding of his shy nature. His new parents must be willing to continue to work with him to help him build his confidence and trust. Champ LOVES other dogs, and we are searching for a home with another dog who is confident for Champ, so he can have a mentor to show him how to dog. This 1 year old, 50-55lb chocolate mush is smart and mostly potty trained. In addition to other dogs, he love toys, food, and treats. He is still a work in progress, but we know that once he finds his perfect home, he will continue to flourish and become the best companion for his new humans. Champ's neuter is scheduled in March, and his adoption fee includes his neuter.
