My story

Just look at this gorgeous girl - those eyes! Now, can you imagine that someone deserted this precious beauty in a soft-sided carrier (think duffle bag with mesh sides and top), on the side of a road, IN THE RAIN. The things we see in rescue are sometimes beyond what we can even fathom. She was so scared when she came to us and really, we can't blame her. The good news is though, she adapted quickly and still loves us humans.

Patricia has a DOB of approx. 3/28/21. She is incredibly affectionate, does great with toddlers, older kids, adults, other cats/kittens - she really has no issues with socializing at all. We've not dog tested her but we presume she would do just fine with proper introductions.

If you're looking for an affectionate young cat that will happily be your best companion ever, look no more. Patricia can't wait to meet you!

Why adoption is a great option

Patricia, a New Richmond Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in New Richmond, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in New Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
