Disclaimer: All rescue dogs may have a percentage of pit bull or Staffordshire breeds in them.

We also do not adopt to anyone who lives out of the state of Colorado. NO exceptions!

I need a single family home with a fenced in yard! I need another dog in the home!

My name is Tank and I'm a lab mix born around 6/30/2021. I am the biggest love bug who likes to snuggle on the couch with whoever will snuggle with me. Since I'm still young, I have lots of energy and likes to go on walks, play, and be active. I'm crate-trained and sleep through the night, and pretty much potty trained except for when I get really excited and have an accident. I love to play with other dogs, love people and guaranteed to give lots of kisses to whoever will take them! I love when I can get lots of attention and if my person is home a lot!

More about this rescue

Douglas County Canine Rescue, or DCCR as we like to call our organization is about one thing, helping dogs in need! Douglas County Canine Rescue, is a 501 c3 non- profit, no kill, animal rescue. Our mission is to rescue abandoned animals, spay, neuter and provide medical care, and then put them with foster homes until we get them adopted into the loving homes that they need and deserve! Douglas County Canine Rescue does not have a facility. We rely solely on the kindness and generosity of animal lovers who open their hearts to help us take care of the animal orphans that desperately need help.
