My story

This girls name is Sweetie!

Her owners passed away so we took her and her pal in. Sweetie has now developed diabetes. She has to be given insulin shots twice a day 12 hours apart. She is on special food also. She is currently in boarding and is needing a foster home to help her. Please consider opening your home up to sweetie. She is very laid back. Gets along with other dogs and all humans. All she needs is a doggy bed and she is super happy.

Russell Rescue is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) dog rescue organization. It was started in 2008 by Mary Ruth Rogers of Columbia, TN. Our mission is to save and re-home unloved, abandoned and abused dogs, especially the Jack Russell terrier. Most of our dogs come from high kill shelters in Tennessee, and other nearby states.
