Meet Forrest!
A cuddly teddy bear of a 55 lb dog who had been on his own for more than two months when rescued
Forrest is a German Shepherd/Husky mix. The vet estimates that he’s about eight years old but he acts like a puppy! Forrest gets along well with small dogs and cats, and all people gentle with him
He is very gentle and super smart. He yearns for a human companion or two. He is house-trained and well- behaved; neutered, on heartworm preventatives, current on vaccines, and takes a small dose of Fluoxetine to curb anxiety, which he has with loud noises and car rides. He is crate trained and prefers to be in his crate next to his humans in their bed at night.
Please consider opening your heart and home to this wonderful dog. Please note that he is not athletic, fearful of noises, and will never be a guard dog. He likes to walk outside on a leash several times a day, but does not enjoy being outside. He much prefers being in his bed watching TV.
Please contact Jeanne B at jmbonds62@gmail.com for more information about Forrest.
