Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kira is a rescue from a backyard breeder. She is about 4 years old. She was 45 pounds and emaciated when we adopted her, missing hair in a lot of places and had completely bald ears because she spent all of her life in a cage on concrete uncared for and simply used for her puppies. She's now about 75 pounds and her hair has grown back to the point to barely notice she had calluses. Her skin was black on her tummy and now it's pink. She's come a long way.
Because of her background, she's very reserved but is very sweet even to strangers. She warms up quickly and is good with kids. She is a quiet dog who rarely barks.
Additionally, because of her background, she has skin and ear issues that require extra care so the person who adopts her has to be able to properly treat her for her needs.
She would do best in a home with another dog as she really enjoys having a buddy. Please contact me asap if you are interested because she really needs a home soon.
