My story

Meet Maci! Maci is a sweet young cat that came to us pregnant with 3 kittens. Sadly only one survived but Maci was a great mother to her and another kitten whose mom rejected him. Both kittens are grown and now Maci is looking for her forever home. While she is not a fan of other cats, Maci is very affectionate and loves people. She will purr and chirp at the Sanctuary staff for attention.

If Maci has stolen your heart or you have any questions, please email us at st.bonnies@gmail.com or call us at (661) 251-5590.

All our cats are FIV and FeLV tested.

St. Bonnie's Sanctuary (Lange Foundation) is located in Canyon Country, CA. If you would like to meet any of our cats and kittens, please call us at (661) 251-5590 or email at st.bonnies@gmail.com.

We adopt to families/people in the Southern California area only. For more information, visit our website: http://langefoundation.org

Why adoption is a great option

Maci, a Canyon Country Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Canyon Country, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Canyon Country.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Canyon Country already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Canyon Country breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Canyon Country paves the way for another one to be saved.
