My story

Hi! I'm America (known as Meri)! Me and my kittens are adorably sweet Patriotic Christmas cookies, ready for adoption! We relish being in your company, whether it be desk-basking, Christmas tree climbing, or just mellowing out on the couch watching your favorite holiday movies. We love our foster kitty and doggy siblings and are great with people! My foster mom says I am the most vocal and love my dinnertime as well! I love to be in the same room with m people and am a very chill kitty! I come to you spayed, FeLV/FIV negative, current on all vaccines. Do you think I could be the purrfect kitty addition to your family this season? Email your phone number to rockcityrescue@gmail.com for more

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All animals 3 months or older must be sterilized prior to adoption. There is an adoption contract that's signed once an adopter has been approved for an adoption. There's no fee to apply for a dog, but adoption fees vary from dog to dog.

Currently, this rescue is run by one person and a variety of foster homes. We have full-time jobs like everyone else, so please be patient with us while we return your calls and emails. 90% of the time calls and emails are returned with 48-72 hours.

More about this rescue

We are committed to rescuing and rehoming dogs and cats who have been abandoned or surrendered. We pull dogs from high kill shelters to help them to be united with loving forever home, as well as help rehome animals found as strays and help families rehome their own pets they can no longer care for.
