My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Herman is a very happy puppy! His approximate birthdate is 1/3/05 and he weighs in at 75#. He has brindling on his legs and some on his face, so he is has character. His picture does not do him justice--he is a very handsome boy!


Herman is just a great dog! Everyone who has stopped to visit him at adoption days can't get over how nice and gorgeous he is! If only they were looking to adopt a dog.......................


He gets along great with other dogs. He would really love a playmate. He is extremely playful! He does fine with cats, too.


Herman is a very passive dog, he likes to roll on his back and have his belly rubbed by everyone. He just loves everyone he meets. He has started his obedience training and is very eager to learn. He sits very nicely for his dinner.


Herman goes for walks every week with some local school kids. He walks so well for them, they just love him, too.


Herman is crate-trained. He is not housetrained yet, so that would be a priority with his new home.

This dog's adoption fee is $265 (plus tax). This includes being neutered, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested (negative) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if we feel it is needed), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.
