My story

Duke is a great horse. He been there done that and rides perfectly. Duke is fast and likes to go so we recommend an intermediate rider. He does stop when asked, he is level headed.

He likes people and is easy to catch, loads, picks up all feet. Good with Farrier and stands tied. He would make a great trail partner. He has been used on the trails many times. he stands around 15.2.

We don't know anything about his past but literally nothing bothers him. UTD on shots and  Coggins.

Height 15.2

Price 1000

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Adopting one of our dogs requires that you fill out an adoption application, have your references checked, and let us visit your home.

The required minimum adoption donation is $250. That amount covers the spay/neuter, annual vaccinations, heartworm testing, and one month of heart worm preventative.

We spend about $300.00 just to treat the pommies that are heartworm positive. We have invested more than $1000.00 in several of our pommies--treating them and kenneling them. Kenneling cost $16 a day per dog. We need foster homes!

More about this rescue

We began in 1998, and have continued to rescue purebred dogs previously used as breeders in Puppy Mills, dogs surrendered by their owners, lost and abandoned dogs on death row at local shelters and a few dogs found roaming the streets. We house, feed, rehabilitate, socialize, seek medical attention for, spay or neuter each dog rescued, but mostly, we give them love.

Please join our cause! We can't do it alone.

We are run entirely by volunteers who give of their time to help find these precious pups their forever homes! Please consider joining us in our fight to find "furever homes" for these pups! We can always use volunteers, FOSTER HOMES!!!!, and donations, including quality dog food, healthy treats (like BULLY STICKS!) belly bands for boy dogs, exercise pens, pee pads, collars, leashes, and Dog shampoo
