Hi There! I’m Asa, a 3 year old Labrador/Doberman mix. I wandered up to a nice man’s house from the woods. He really liked me a lot, but already had a dog. He told the workers that I’m potty trained, enjoy walks, and get along with other dogs. Chances are if you come meet me, you will completely fall in love and won’t leave without me. Everyone at the shelter loves me. I’m a new favorite. One worker said, I’m the most affectionate dog he’s ever met, I am the best at body hugs! I’m exceptionally calm and gentle. Pictures don’t do me justice because in person I am extra handsome. Look into my eyes, and you will see the most loyal companion of your life. Adopt me!

My adoption fee is $100.00 per and this includes my sterilization, shots, and worming with an optional microchipping and registration for an additional $20.00. We have a dog park to check compatibility with existing dogs. Fill out an adoption application at heberspringshumanesociety.com. If your application is approved, a volunteer will contact you to set up a meet and greet appointment. The adoption application is NOT on Adopt-a-Pet. You must apply on our shelter website.
