My story

Mama Bear came to us when she was kicked out onto the streets of Detroit with her baby puppy. We couldn’t let them fend for themselves in these freezing temperatures, so we swooped them up.

Mama Bear is a wonderful mommy, and her puppy will soon be heading to his forever home. Our mission is to get this sweet mama into her furever home too.

-Spayed 2 Year-Old Female
-UTD on Vaccines
-Approximately 52 pounds
-Loves Children
-Dog & Cat Friendly
-Crate trained but would much rather cuddle with you
- Loves to cuddle and thinks she is a lap dog
-Potty Trained
-Loves playing with her squeaky toys and stuffed animals

Why adoption is a great option

Mama Bear, a Troy American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Troy, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Troy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Troy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Troy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Troy paves the way for another one to be saved.
