Tessa is a happy-go-lucky, zoomy girl who has seen two babies off to a brighter future and is ready to start a new life of her own. Not much older than her pups, she's looking to get a GED in basic training/manners. She's motivated to learn and eager to please.
This little mama has lived with young children and knows to take treats ever so gently. She knows how to sit and shake too! Granted, her sit tends to be more of a butt dance with the ground, but with youth comes the need to boogie, right?
Tessa obviously got along with her puppy daddy (and puppies), but will be further evaluated with the foster pack once she's more settled. We do know she does not mix with cats or chickens, so small dogs may be a no-go too.
But if you're looking for a lova-bull girl who knows the ropes with kids and people of all kinds, Tessa is ready to hop right into your home. She's done the mom thing and is ready to live her life - though she's always happy to assist with babysitting. Afterall, she's experienced!

We are 100% volunteer/foster based, so we do ask that you complete an adoption application in order for us to schedule a phone interview.
Interview
After reviewing your application, we'll contact you to determine if dog is a good fit for your lifestyle and home.
Approve Application
We check vet and personal references to ensure previous dogs were well cared for, so please be thorough in providing this info.
Home Check
This enables the dog to get to know you and your home and for us to suggest anything they may need to be successful in your home.
Sign Adoption Contract
You would also pay the fee at this time, however, we offer a 2 week trial period before cashing your check. We will always take dogs back.
