Hello, I’m Twix, a 9-year-old male gray and white tuxedo DSH sweetheart. I can be a bit shy at first but crave your attention. I love to head butt, get chin rubs and sit or lay next to you. You can even pet my tummy. I especially love “helping” you work on your computer. I’m mostly quiet as a mouse except when purring. Which I am sure to do whenever you pet or brush me.
My feline social skills are excellent. I can easily live with other laid back cats male or female. I do chat to other kitties with chirps and brrrps; it’s quite cute to hear! Exploring is fun but then I come back and hang out with you on the couch. I don’t play hard-to-get - I even come when called.
My foster says I am a dear boy. Because human interaction is very important to me, my dream is to live with someone who works from or stays at home. Raised voices frighten me, although the TV and stereo noises don’t. If you are looking for a loving, quiet, steadfast companion, I just might be the one.

Twix, a Gaithersburg Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Gaithersburg, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Gaithersburg.
Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gaithersburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gaithersburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gaithersburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
