Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Wendy.
She's bouncy, happy, and snuggly. Super snuggly!
Wendy was part of a dogfighting case in CT. But she has put her past behind her and is ready for a new start and to find out what's it's like to be a loved member of a family. She would do fine in a home with another dog.
Because Wendy has never lived in a home before (her situation prior to rescue was pretty bleak) she has been given a Handsome Dan's Rescue Take My Lead grant to help her and her adopter settle in together. This grant provides, free of charge, up to $500 in private training and supplies, she may also attend Outbound Hounds Pit Class FREE with her new owner.
Wendy is located in a shelter in CT, but is currently owned by the State of CT since she was evidence in a dogfighting case prior to her release. Handsome Dan's Rescue is sponsoring her medical and enrichment needs and supplies while she is at the shelter, and we would be happy to discuss helping with any transportation costs associated with adopting her.
