ATDR 3875

Say hello to Zoey! This precious Chiweenie girl came into rescue when her beloved Dad passed away, leaving her with family members who couldn't keep her. She’s doing extremely well in a loving ATDR foster home where she greatly enjoys interacting with the other pups in the house. She loves snuggling in the big chair with other furry friends and her foster mom, but is not a needy girl who demands it all the time. Initially, she had to be invited and will still go to her bed or entertain herself if chair-time is not offered. Zoey is a fabulous little dog, so easy to live with…she’s not a barker and fits in easily with the flow of the house. She's leash and crate trained and appears to be house broken. Being a bit on the chubby side, she’s now enjoying a nutritious spa diet and daily walks she looks forward to in order to slim down a couple pounds. She’s completely vetted and ready to go. Zoey would enjoy having a good natured doggy friend to live life with, but she came from a quiet adult home and should not have to deal with active children in a new home.

If you’re looking for a great little friend and companion to share all good things with, please submit an adoption application for Zoey. This good-natured girl is ready and waiting with a constantly wagging tail to explore life with you.

Note: According to the family who surrendered Zoey to ATDR, she has experienced skin prolems in the past. Even though she shows no signs of currently needing it after coming into foster care, she comes with a prescription shampoo and an oral prescription medication that can be used if she shows signs of skin problems.
