My story

Meet Rudy who is a 4yr old lab mix. Rudy is very sweet and enjoys playing, exploring in the yard and playing with his best friend who is a Great Pyrenes. Enjoys going for walks as long as another dog is with him. Rudy can be a little anxious if he doesn't have another dog around to build his confidence so he really needs a home with another dog his size or bigger. He would do best in a home with older kids. Rudy enjoys riding in cars but is timid about getting into one. Rudy is best with having a stable routine as it helps with his anxiety. He does know simple commands such as sit. Rudy will need a home with lots of love and patience to help him build confidence. Rudy would fit best in a home with lots of yard to run and play in.. He will also need a fenced in yard as well. If you are interested in adopting or learning more about him please contact Carrie Bowman at 731-267-5535 or cabowman67@yahoo.com.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We first require an adoption application be completed. We ask for vet references in addition to personal (non family) references. We then put you in touch with the foster parents to discuss the dog you are inquiring about. We feel this gives us a better understanding if the dog is a fit for your home. A contract is required upon approval and adoption fees are paid through pay pal or directly to our vet and the transport company.

Go meet their pets

we are a foster based group so no shelter is available for meeting. We are happy to provide references .

More about this rescue

We are a foster based rescue. Our dogs-puppies come from various sources- individuals who must surrender their animals, unwanted litters, abandoned dogs, some from abused situations and we pull many from high kill shelters in West Tennessee. We started as a group of girls who wanted to make a difference. Today we have added a few guys and still our goal is the same. We also use part of the adoption fees to ensure all mothers we receive pups from are altered and offer when we can help to those who cannot afford to have their pet altered.
