Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tortellini and his supposed relative - at least his companion - were admitted together as stray dogs at an upstate animal shelter. They are very compatible and we have them kenneled together at the rescue also. Both dogs are well into middle age and appeared well taken care of on intake other than Cannoli, the other male, having some abrasions and callousing. Tortellini weighs about 90 pounds and he's a solid, friendly dog. Our impression is that these dogs were not strays but were merely turned in as such because some shelters are not taking owned dogs during the current saturation of pets at all statewide animal shelters. Tortellini cries mournfully, clearly missing his former home situation very much, and his companion is a serious, stoic dog that is biding his time.
