My story

Vaccinated, microchipped, and altered!

Hard to believe that petite Maddie gave birth to three strapping kittens, including Abra. They were residents of FUR until 2 years ago, when a lovely man adopted them. Due to some extenuating medical issues, he unfortunately had to return them. They had excellent care while they were with him and are not nearly as shy as they once were.

Maddie is still petite, and Abra, who loves the wand toy, still towers over her sweet mom. Two sweet, bonded young ladies that are very shy to begin with and need a quiet loving home - together. Maddie is a lap cat who will lounge endlessly - the catch? Initially you will have to put her there! Abra loves to play with all toys - wands and laser mice especially. While Maddie is a bit more courageous, Abra is ever the clown with lots of energy. The only thing better than earning their trust is watching them cuddle securely and contentedly together. They have stolen all of our hearts.

More about this rescue

As guardians of displaced felines, our mission is to provide a safe haven for cats, thereby reducing the homeless population, the shelter euthanasia rates, and by filling a gap in the rescue community as a last resort sanctuary. Our group consists solely of volunteers who share the passion for helping homeless cats to find loving homes, providing compassionate care to unadoptable cats, and assisting feral colonies and their caretakers with food, shelter and medical needs.
