My story

Kalila is a beautiful and sweet little momma. She came to us absolutely infested with heartworms, with an awful skin infection, fleas, and seven little puppies.

She has since seen our veterinarian and is healing up wonderfully with her medications. Due to her medical status, she is not yet available for a full adoption, however she is more than ready for the cushy life of a foster home!

Kalila needs a foster with excellent communication skills and the willingness/flexibility to get her to her veterinary appointments. The perfect foster will also help her along her road to recovery by introducing her to life on the inside. She's spent her life outside and may require house training, though we don't think that it will be a very difficult task for her.

Fosters have first right to adoption if they decide the pup is already in their furever home and also provide us with valuable insight into a pup's demeanor and personality. If you think that you may be the perfect foster home and partner, please fill out our foster application. https://fs28.formsite.com/mstokesjesupganet/form1/index.html

Additional adoption info

All adoptions require an application process that includes but not limited to a home check and background references that will be verified. We also provide a foster to adopt program that allows both the dog and family to adapt and know one another before finalizing the adoption.

Go meet their pets

We do not participate in adoption fares or pet store locations. Our rescue can be found at select charity events. Dates and locations along with rescue updates are posted to our website each Wednesday and Sunday. All dogs that become available for adoption receive an adoption clearance from our veterinarian.

More about this rescue

Our rescue enables opportunity. We rescue those that need our assistance at a second chance in life and place them in loving and nurturing homes so that they understand what unconditional love truly is. Our rescue is transparent and all vetting records are available upon request for each animal you are interested in adopting.
