Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sing along with us, "Everybody loves Kung Fu Panda!"
Kung Fu Panda is a longtime resident at Cincinnati Animal CARE, originally coming to us in July of 2021. KFP is highly energetic and needs to lead an energetic lifestyle. Usually when we say that, it means "this dog would thrive with daily walks or going on a hike," but KFP needs someone who knows border collies and can really put the work in with things like agility training. He needs daily physical and mental challenges. The good news? He's done very well at agility training classes at Doggie Paddles LLC - Florence KY and they have even offered 25% off ALL future training sessions for whoever adopts Kung Fu Panda!
He does well with dogs his size or larger (no small animals), loves to go for walks, does great in the car, and when he gets that right level of physical and mental stimulation, he becomes quite the cuddle bug! He's a unique case and needs a unique adopter and the shelter environment isn't doing him any favors.
We ask that even if your home wouldn't be the right fit for KFP, please share his story, because he's one of those rare dogs where we're searching for a needle in a haystack adopter. We know that person is out there who can dedicate the time and energy to shaping him into the dog he's meant to be, but we need your help finding them!
Meet Kung Fu Panda! Kung Fu Panda is straight up adorable! He loves to play with toys and would thrive in an active home with no small animals. Kung Fu Panda can be a little nervous in new environments, but he warms up quickly. He is crate-trained, and his crate is his "safe place". He'd love a fenced yard to run around in and larger dog siblings to play with! Kung Fu is house-trained and is very receptive to learning new things- he's a smart boy! Fill out an application and meet him today!
