My story

Like to eat? So does Daphne!!  She loves hay, veggies, kibble, fruit, pretty much anything!  Beautiful Daphne was surrendered by her owner.  She is very sweet and will cuddle for a little while.  She doesn't mind being held and pet.  Like Daphne from Scooby-Doo, she is curious, likes to explore and seeks out the mysteries of the area.  Daphne may become an escape artist if not watched carefully. Daphne seems to tolerate dogs under direct supervision.  She is learning the ways of the harness & leash for outside excursions.

Additional adoption info

An Application/questionnaire is initially required, and an interview will be conducted to help place the right bunnies with the adoptive family.

This interview may take place in person, by phone, or email, depending on the individual situation.

Our adoption fees are dependent upon the clinic's current rescue price for neutering procedures.
Fees may be adjusted for multiples, or special needs adoptions.

Adoption fee includes pet, starter food and hay, and care care information. Gently used supplies are also available for sale.

Families are asked to keep us updated on any problems or issues that may arise, as we want a successful, long term match.

Go meet their pets

Most bunnies are on site at BunnAgain home base in Paradis La. Call for an appointment or schedule a visit at your school/event. Often we have many more rabbits than are posted, due to a lack of time.
If there is a particular rabbit of interest, we can often arrange a meeting within 30 miles of our location.
Visit us at the German Coast Farmers Market at Ormond Plantation in Destrehan La. when we have Pre-Easter and Holiday Educational events.
Current events, new photos, and special offers are posted on our website and BunnAgain Rabbit Rescue and Education's Facebook page.

More about this rescue

I'm Donna Rome, I help pet rabbits which are abandoned or unwanted in some way by taking them in, loving on them, getting them spayed and neutered, and finding suitable adoptive families. I also educate potential and present rabbit owners of vital bunny info and links to helpful sites. I run BUNN AGAIN RABBIT RESCUE where 2nd HAND BUNS are #1 . I'd like people to know why bunnies are the 3rd most popular pet in the world, and the joy they can be to own or foster. I offer gender checks, nail trims, resources, facts and educational events here! —Located in Paradis, Louisiana.
