My story

Please contact Shelley (senglish50@yahoo.com), (712) 325-9284 for more information about this pet.

OMG.  If you are looking for an IN YOUR FACE lap cat, Frack is the one for you.  He will be shy at first but once he gets to know you, he is a Velco cat and will follow you every  (especially to the bathroom).  Great with other cats and a small dog but not sure of kids.

Frack did test positive for FIV+ but he can live a normal life span.  He just need to be an indoor only cat so he doesn't catch colds.  He is ear tipped but CLEARLY is not even close to being feral. Someone dumped him (bad humans!)

He loves to play with any toy and will do zoomies around 10 pm.  He really needs to go to a home with other fur babies or with someone who is home 24/7 as he would be super lonesome otherwise.

Please contact Shelley for more information.  712-435-9199 or shelley@solaspetadoption.org

Go meet their pets

Every Saturday (except holiday weekends) we have adoptable cats at Petco on 72nd and Dodge in Omaha from 11am-3pm. Adoptable cats also live in cages there and are available during Petco's regular business hours. We also have cats ready for adoption at Petsmart in Council Bluffs. They are available during business hours as well.

More about this rescue

By definition, the word "solace" means "that which furnishes comfort or consolation." Coincidentally, SOLAS, although it is spelled differently, provides the same thing for many unwanted dogs, cats, and other animals living in the Council Bluffs/Omaha area. S.O.L.A.S. is a 501(c)3 Not for Profit organization.
