Ozzy (black lab mix) and Angie (chihuaha mix) came to live with me last week after I learned that their person had died and they were living in the house by themselves. Family was checking in on them and keeping them fed, but they needed more interaction, so I brought them both to my house. I can't keep them because I already have 2 dogs and am moving into my RV.
Both are SO SWEET. They are bonded and love each other very much. They are snugglers and rarely bark. They love going outside and get along well with my two chihuahuas. Angie was a little shy at first but she warmed up to me after a few days and loves laying on my stomach and chest.
Ozzy thinks she's a lap dog even though she's 65 lbs. She could stand to lose a few pounds. Ozzie is 2.5 yrs old and Angie looks to be at least 8, maybe older.
They are lovely dogs and would love to find their new forever person. I've seen no resource guarding and I'm guessing they'll be good with cats and little humans.
