My story

Our sweet girl Olivia has been waiting a long time for her forever family, as of Oct 29th She will have been with us for 1 year. That’s an awfully long time to be waiting to find a human of your own! Olivia is a 3yr old Border Collie mix weighing in at 40lbs. Olivia is super friendly, she is housetrained, and loves other dogs. Oliva has been fostered by a trainer, so she has been getting lots of training, is highly intelligent and eager to learn. Olivia is a ball of fun so she would really love to find an adventure buddy to go hiking with or maybe someone who will try some agility training with her! Her ideal home would have a fenced in yard to run and play in, and while she loves kids it's probably best she goes to a home with older ones to play with. Could you be the human Olivia has been dreaming of for the past year? If so fill out an application today and don’t keep her waiting any longer! Olivia will also come with 2 free training classes as well!

Why adoption is a great option

Olivia, a Monroe Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Monroe, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Monroe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Monroe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Monroe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Monroe paves the way for another one to be saved.
