My name is BUTTER! Allow me to share a bit about myself. I'm a 1-year-old, 28 lb, black and white border collie/terrier mix. I am a very sweet dog that loves to run and have fun. I love being around people and giving them lots of love. I do NOT do well with small children but am fine with adults and teens. I am a wiggly girl that just wants to play all day. I like other dogs but haven't been around cats. The Ark has a cage-free cat room, so they can test me with cats if needed. My previous owner could not keep me any longer due to his traveling. I am house and crate trained. I am very intelligent but I get distracted easily. I love treats and scratches! I have received comprehensive vetting: Veterinary Physical and Dental examinations, Veterinarian administered vaccinations, fecal analysis, ear mite treatment, deworming treatment, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and a spay. I have an adoption fee of $200 to help offset vetting costs. Hope to see you soon!

Why adoption is a great option

BUTTER, a Cleveland Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Cleveland, or seeking a Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Cleveland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cleveland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cleveland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cleveland paves the way for another one to be saved.
